*The Bridgeport Guardians INC. SCHOLARSHIP: For students pursuing advanced education at a four-year university. There are three (3) scholarships for $1,000. Candidates must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, a letter of recommendation and a minimum 300 word essay articulating why you should be chosen for this scholarship. Children or dependents of active or retired Bridgeport police officers are ineligible to apply. Applications must be postmarked by June 13 of the current school year. Please pick up an application in the Magnet office.
