*The Connecticut Legislative Black and Puerto Rican/Latino Caucus WILFRED X. JOHNSON SCHOLARSHIP AWARD: Applicants must be African American or Puerto Rican/Latino high school seniors or college students. Minimum C+ average or current college student with 2.5 GPA minimum. Involvement in extra-curricular activities, involvement in community, quality of writing sample, transcript and two (2) letters of recommendation are required. Obtain applications from your counselor and must be postmarked no later than June 3.
