*Skidmore College Porter Presidential Scholarships in Mathematics and Science: $40,000 scholarship ($10,000 per year) to students who demonstrate exceptional promise in math and science. To be considered students must respond to the Porter essay question on the Skidmore Supplement of the Common Application. Students need not major in these areas at Skidmore but must take at least one course in math or science each semester and pursue at least one significant research project or independent study with a facult member.
